Kevin McRaith, CEO, is guiding the WellDoc team in the successful launch and continued development of the BlueStar Mobile Prescription Therapy. Under his leadership, the WellDoc team has engineered an innovative commercial approach to BlueStar's positioning in the marketplace, and achieved success in the initial targeted launch of BlueStar.
As CEO, Kevin is responsible for the sales, marketing, development and technical teams. His results-driven management team is focused on the successful delivery of technical patient solutions and product training.
Prior to joining WellDoc, Kevin served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Human Genome Sciences. In his leadership role with Human Genome Sciences, Kevin hired and led the commercial organization responsible for the successful launch of Benlysta. During his time in this position, Kevin also chaired the Joint Development Committee, Joint Commercial Committee and the Joint Steering Committee with GlaxoSmithKline.
Kevin also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in the Hematology Franchise at Genentech where he led the team through the strategic development and sales and marketing execution for Rituxan. He also managed the pipeline of hematology products.
Prior to his tenure at Genentech, Kevin served in numerous sales and marketing roles of increasing responsibility over 14 years at Abbott Laboratories where he worked on key product launches, including Depakote, Biaxin, Kaletra, Micardis and Tricor. His last role at Abbott was General Manager of the Anti-Infective franchise. Prior to Abbott, Kevin started his career at Baxter Healthcare, where he held various roles in sales and marketing.

Suzanne Sysko Clough, MD
Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Suzanne Sysko Clough, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Officer of WellDoc. She oversees the clinical aspects used in the development of the company’s Web and mobile-based diabetes management platform.
Dr. Clough previously served in the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Division of Endocrinology: Diabetes and Nutrition and was the medical director of the Center for Weight Management and Wellness, each located in Baltimore. As part of her educational responsibilities, she developed a nutrition and wellness curriculum for fourth-year medical students.
As a physician at the Joslin Center for Diabetes at the University of Maryland, Dr. Clough utilized a multidisciplinary team to empower her patients to adopt healthier lifestyle behaviors.
She has also served as the founder and the medical director of the “Get Fit Maryland! The 10,000 Steps Program,” in which, she designed a statewide, private/public community outreach program to raise awareness on obesity. Within this role, Dr. Clough developed and implemented a 12-week medically-based exercise program for more than 7,000 Maryland residents.
Dr. Clough received a bachelor’s degree in biology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia and a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Maryland’s School of Medicine in Baltimore. She completed her residency program and endocrinology fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Systems. During her fellowship, Dr. Clough received specialized training on lipids at Duke University and weight management at Columbia University. She is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology.
Dr. Clough is a member of the American Diabetes Association, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and American Association of Diabetes Educators.

Gene Van Slyke
Chief Financial Officer
Gene Van Slyke serves as the Chief Financial Officer and brings more than 30 years of financial management experience to the company. He has worked in the Telecom, Energy and Information Technologies industries and held executive positions in finance, information technology and operations.
As CFO, Gene will be responsible for the overall financial management of the organization, its financial reporting and for multiple corporate functions including controller, treasury, investor relations, tax, strategy and long-range planning.
Before joining WellDoc, Gene held a number of executive positions with Constellation Energy. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of the IT and Supply chain organizations within the nuclear joint venture Constellation had with EDF of France. For most of his time at Constellation, he was the Chief Financial Officer for the nuclear division. As CFO Gene partnered with the Chief Nuclear Officer and the nuclear management team to develop the strategy that took Constellation from the ninth ranked nuclear fleet in the United States to the top fleet in the country.
Prior to his time with Constellation, Gene was Chief Financial Officer at several start-up companies where he raised capital, set the strategic direction for the organization and drove focused execution. Gene was Vice President of Revenue Operations for Teleglobe Inc., an international telecommunications carrier. There, he restructured their billing and order entry systems driving $20M in increased revenues per year.
Gene started his career with Ernst and Young as an auditor. After working in public accounting, Gene moved on to MCI Telecommunications where he spent 13 years working in finance and revenue operations. Gene lead the Financial Planning and Analysis team during MCI’s merger with Worldcom and was responsible for creating the billing systems for MCI’s global joint venture with British Telecom called Concert. He also was controller for MCI’s successful Telecom joint venture in New Zealand.
Mr. Van Slyke earned his bachelor of science in finance and economics from Towson University and is CPA certified in the State of Maryland.

Anand K. Iyer, Ph.D, MBA
Chief Data Science Officer
Dr. Anand Iyer serves as Chief Data Science Officer of WellDoc. He has more than 20 years of consulting, industrial and academic experience in the areas of business strategy development, network engineering, economic modeling, service development and value network analysis. He most recently held the position of director in the Communications Industry Group at PRTM Management Consultants. In this role, Dr. Iyer led PRTM's Wireless Solutions practice where he focused on helping companies in both the commercial and government sectors capitalize on the convergence of three mega trends: Internet ubiquity, emerging wireless technologies and innovative business models. He is a pioneer in the realm of Telematics and Telemedicine, where he has developed and launched several initiatives with OEMs to transition their basis of competition from a product-base to a service-base.
Dr. Iyer is also the founder and immediate-past president of the In-Building Wireless Alliance, a cross-industry, non- profit aimed at accelerating the adoption of in-building wireless for the real estate and public safety communities.
Prior to joining PRTM, Dr. Iyer was a member of the scientific staff at Bell Northern Research and Nortel Networks.
He holds a Ph.D., MS in electrical and computer engineering and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Iyer holds a BE degree in electrical and computer engineering from Carleton University.
Dr. Iyer is a member of the IEEE, Society for Photo-Optic Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE) and Sigma Xi. In 2007, he was voted one of the top 35 global wireless executives by Realcomm. He is also a type 2 diabetes patient and WellDoc end-user.

Vice President, Operations
Caroline York holds responsibility for WellDoc and BlueStar operations. With ownership of patient care management, product technical support, and technical operations and infrastructure, Caroline drives operational excellence across the company, supporting the development and implementation of new capabilities for future growth.
Caroline has over 25 years of healthcare experience with a diverse background including leadership roles in pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy services, strategic marketing, and patient support services with companies including CVS Caremark and AmerisourceBergen. Caroline’s background also includes consulting with Accenture’s Health Services practice conducting merger and acquisition diligence.
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.

Vice President, Marketing
Jen Beachell leads marketing for WellDoc’s flagship brand, BlueStar®. Jen has over ten years of provider, consumer and payer marketing experience on brands such as Procrit®, FluMist®, Benlysta® and Epi-Pen®. Most recently, she led new product launches at Human Genome Sciences in partnership with Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline. Jen has extensive experience in national consumer marketing campaigns that include digital marketing, television, social media and relationship marketing. Jen also has a background in sales and training and was the winner of Johnson and Johnson’s OrthoBiotech President’s Cup in 2005 as a top performing sales representative.
In addition to Jen’s commercial leadership experience, she has a background in managed care, healthcare reimbursement and hospital consulting in her roles at The Lewin Group, Kaiser Permanente and Mercer. Jen holds a master of business administration from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Smith College.
Jen’s key objective at WellDoc is to foster patient engagement, drive prescriptions and consumer requests, and to establish broad patient access.

Yves Nordmann, MD
Yves Nordmann, Founder Emeritus of WellDoc, was born in Switzerland and completed Medical School from 1993 to 1999 in Basel, Paris and New York. He specialized in pediatrics and served at the University of Maryland School of Medicine's Division of Pediatric Endocrinology, where he was awarded a Fellowship-Grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
Dr. Nordmann founded WellDoc together with Dr. Suzanne Clough and Ryan Sysko in 2005. Dr. Nordmann is a board certified pediatrician in Switzerland and holds the ECFMG Certification of the United States Medical Licensing Examination. Since June 2006 he owns a private pediatric practice in Zurich and since 2007 he acts as Chief Medical Director for E-Medicus, a Switzerland based company developing EMR and e-health solutions for private practices and clinics.
Dr. Nordmann is a member of the FMH Swiss Medical Association and of the Swiss Society of Pediatrics.
