Dana is a Certified Diabetes Educator and Registered Dietitian with a broad clinical and research practice. Dana’s practice focuses on providing patients with the most advanced diabetes care available. Dana has over her almost 20 year career worked on the forefront of advanced diabetes technology. Dana has trained patients on every currently available insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor. She is also a pioneer in the area of closed loop “artificial pancreas” systems.
Dana serves as the Research Information Liaison for the Dallas chapter of JDRF and has spoken at several national diabetes conferences across the country. Dana also serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations and is active with many community service projects. Dana lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and three children.
