Employers Look to Digital Health Tools as Solutions

In this brief video Laurel Pickering, Welldoc’s EVP, Enterprise Solutions, describes the current landscape surrounding the use by employers of digital health solutions. She points out that employers have attempted to introduce a slew of digital health tools to employees, but the uptake has been disappointing, in part because these tools just have not delivered. At this point the digital health solutions space is very crowded. Employers, notes Pickering, are in dire need of solutions that accomplish two goals – deliver healthier employees and hold the line on employer healthcare costs.
