Mansur has been part of the Welldoc team since 2012, overseeing many of the clinical aspects of Welldoc’s suite of digital health products. He is also actively involved in patient care, serving people living with diabetes and other endocrine and metabolic conditions at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Mansur maintains an academic affiliation at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where he is a clinical associate professor, and also at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a member of the faculty.
Mansur completed an internship and residency at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and his fellowships in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at the Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. Mansur’s expertise is in complex pharmacologic approaches and the use of technology in healthcare. He has published over 25 peer-reviewed medical articles and textbook chapters. Currently, he is an active member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the American Diabetes Association, and the Endocrine Society.
